Traveler is an experiment in working out the Falling Card Series at a medium scale in aluminum. Like its larger sister, Star Pointer, Traveler has three leaning slabs and a tube element that shoots toward the sky.  As suggested by its name, the work traveled over seas to its first exhibition in 2007 at OPEN 10 on the Lido island off of Venice, Italy. After the close of the exhibition, Traveler was moved to an exhibition at Art St. Urban in St. Urban, Switzerland. Shipped back overseas, the sculpture was installed on the plaza in front of the Orlando Museum of Art, welcoming visitors to Orlando’s installation of Drawing in Space: The Peninsula Project.
